Keith B. Berkeley, D.V.M., Diplomate, American Board of Veterinary Practitioners
Certified in Equine Practice

Dr. Berkeley attended Clemson University from 1977 to 1980. He then attended Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama, where he received his D.V.M. degree in 1984. Since that time, he has been at Valley Equine Associates and became a partner in 1989 and managing partner in 2000. His areas of interest are lameness, internal medicine, reproduction and business management. He is married to Laura and they have two children, Preston and Nell.

Francis W. Daniel, V.M.D.

Dr. Daniel received an A.A. degree from Potomac State College in 1957 and a V.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1961. Dr. Daniel retired January 2006 and is now keeping busy on his dairy farm.

Dr. Daniel received a B.S. degree from Virginia Tech in 1987 and a D.V.M. from Ohio State in 1991. He joined Valley Equine in June 1991 and his interests include equine reproduction and racetrack medicine.

Dana S. Reeder, D.V.M.

Dr. Reeder attended Virginia Tech from 1990 to 1999, where she received an Agricultural Engineering Degree and a D.V.M. Since then, she has been at Valley Equine Associates. Her areas of interest are lameness and reproduction. She owns several horses and enjoys competing in endurance rides.

Juliette L. Brown, D.V.M.

Dr. Brown is a graduate of University of Tennessee, receiving her B.S. in Animal Science in 2001 and her D.V.M. in 2004.

Eleanor K. Snead, D.V.M.

Dr. Snead graduated from Hollins University in 2000 with a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Biology. She received her D.V.M. from Virginia Tech in 2006. Her main professional interest is lameness. Dr. Snead joined Valley Equine in August 2006.

Daniel T. Meagher, D.V.M., M.S., Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons

Dr. Meagher attended University of Nebraska from 1992 - 1997 where he received a B.S. in Animal Science. He attended University of California at Davis from 1997 - 2001 where he received his veterinarian degree. Since veterinary school, Dr. Meagher practiced in Omaha, Nebraska, completed an internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, and completed a surgical residency and master's degree program at The Ohio State University. Dr. Meagher joined Valley Equine in August 2006 and became board certified in equine surgery in February 2007. He is married to Tara and they have a son, Ethan.
